Fabric:
* Floral-Waverly Fabric-Ballad Bouquet-Robins Egg Blue Retail-$34.99 but I bought on sale for $17.99/yard & used my JoAnns coupons for free shipping
*Blue w/Cream Dots-Waverly-Old World Charm Prussian Dot-Lakeside- Retail $39.99 bought for $19.99/yard with same coupons.
*Stripes-Waverly-Overtures-Robins Eggs Blue-I already had these pillows which came with another trailer I had purchased.
*Checks-Homespun-Large Red Check-$4.99
The Above fabrics were all bought from JoAnn's
*Red Polka Dot Canvas for canopy-Sunbrella-Red Polka Dot-Retail $60 bought from a fabric online clearance site due to it's now out of stock & discontinued, I bought it for $9.99/yard.
NOTE: I know alot of glampers buy oil cloth fabric to make their canopies since they are water & mildew proof, be aware, however, they are NOT sun resistant and fade just as fast as normal fabric. I live & mostly travel in the desert so any red would've been pink in no time! That's why I chose Sunbrella which is water & sun resistant.
Pillows & Accessories:
*Pillows came from Ebay, along with dishes
*I have found vintage finds from antique store in Cedar City including an antique radio, however, the radio on my design board can be found at
 http://www.uniquepiece.com/product/product_detail.asp?ProductID=5100&CategoryName=&Unique-Gifts:Vintage%20Style%20Radio
 for only $13
*I took all my left over fabrics & made a pendant flag banner
*My battery operated chandelier is from http://www.batteryoperatedcandles.net/53969-p-outdoor.html & cost $49.95  Love the battery operated part because I can use it in the glamper for some ambiance then you can carry it outside to hang off your canopy, a tree, ...it can go anywhere.
*Many of my wall decor & outdoor display was found at antique stores and Hobby Lobby.
Countertop & Table Top:
I just LOVE the new designs & colors Formica has just introduced to celebrate their 100th anniversary. You can check out their new anniversary collection here: http://www.houzz.com/ideabooks/6852525/thumbs/Formica---laminate-2013-Anniversary-Collection
I chose the Greystone color & love that it is brand new but looks very retro & original. These can be ordered from Home Depot starting Jan.31, 2013.
UPDATE: I didn't order the above retro countertop due to time constraints, I chose to order from Home Depot a marble gray & white looking formica & I love it!
Oven, Stove Fan, Sink, IceBox:
I am thankful our Santa Fe came with the original appliances however, they are the infamous brown color of the 60s & 70s.  I found companies here it town to re-glaze them to whatever color I wanted, in my case white. Check your town for companies by searching using terms as 'Reglazing Appliances' or 'Glazing Specialists.' I've heard of some glampers spray painting their own with metal paints, etc. However, I've been warned from others that if your stove or oven gets hot enough, those paints will not last. I didn't want to take the chance & I also wanted them to last another 50 yrs! I also needed to replace a few burners on my stove & I've heard this is a common dilemma. I found mine on Ebay but you can also keep watch on the vintage trailer sites and also post what you're looking for.

  1. It's very similar to my palette! I also have those same dishes on my eBay watch list...love, love, love the polka dots with roses combination.

  2. Thank you, yes I just love combining the patterns. I think alot of people try to stay safe by keeping to just a couple colors & using solids everywhere. they don't quite know how to put patterns together, but it looks so custom as opposed to solid color curtains, solid pillows, solid dishes, etc. I'm working on a few more boards of different styles just for fun & if it helps someone step out of their comfort zone & play w/ patterns, I'm glad I could throw my 2 cents in! Lol
