'55 Aljoa "Elise" - My New Glamper Project

Watch How This Junkyard Find for $100

Is turned into a time machine, just back from 1912

I received a call from my brother in law about a vintage trailer he found on a hike several yrs ago, so nice of him to think of me! Several weeks later this 55 Aljoa was in my rv parking for $100. Yes, its in really really bad shape but I knew the floor oven alone was worth that. And there she sat in my yard for couple yrs, not to sure yet what I was going to do with it. Sell her, part her, flip her, keep her?

It had been sitting in a junk yard with big holes straight through the ceiling for at least a decade and since its was in California, yea it got a lot of rain too. Mold was everywhere.

However, when you have had a few vintage trailers & decide your next one will be something totally out of the box which requires it to be totally gutted....you don't want to gut one that's in really great condition. I would feel so guilty at that point.

I will call her "Elise".She will be a 1912 hotel room from the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan. Based off the movie "Somewhere In Time" starring Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour.

Let the games begin!
